“If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them, you will not know them and what you do not know, you will fear. What one fears, one destroys.”

-Chief Dan George

Preserving with love, dignity, reverence and God’s grace… Valhalla Hill Farm and the Nokota® Horse from the Late Leo L. Kuntz’ Nokota® Horse Preservation Ranch.

Valhalla Hill Farm is a small property that sits on land once inhabited by the Hopewell and Shawnee Indians. It has become a place of healing… offering programs for self-discovery and various experiential modalities that include a small herd of Spirit/Medicine Horses. For many years horses have come, with different issues usually because of human error, to find healing from being misunderstood, mistreated, broken down and shut off mentally, emotionally and physically. Humans experience many of the same concerns as horses to include the desire for healing… for we are all so intricately design to do so…

HORSES and HUMANS are here to bring HEALING or be HEALED.

“Horses aren’t lazy and they’re not greedy and they’re not jealous and they’re not spiteful, they’re not hateful. I know about those things and they’re not that way. But the human can sometimes only describe a horse in the way that they view other human beings.” - Leo L. Kuntz North Dakota Rancher. Founder of The Nokota® Horse Conservancy.
